OpenOffice, Document processing and computer typesetting

I first started using computers to process and format text documents in the 1970’s, when an upper-case only 5×7 dot-matrix line printer was sophisticated technology. It’s still a speciality of mine, but these days I use tools like XSLT and formats like RTF, ODF, PostScript and XML to build, tear down, analyse and re-assemble documents.

The pages in this section reflect things I’ve learned and how to use the tools of the trade.
